About the prints

IMAGE SIZES

Each image has been optimised for the highest quality of archival reproduction in a range of sizes to suit different spaces. Actual dimensions depend on the size and proportion of the original art and each is available in 4 or 5 different sizes which are detailed on the same page.

IMAGE QUALITY

Each canvas and fine art print is produced on the finest museum grade material using archival quality pigment ink to ensure accurate colour and longevity, which is endorsed by the Wilhelm Imaging Institute. They estimate that in normal indoor situations, out of direct sunlight, these works should retain their original colour and vibrance for at least 75 years.

The canvas material has a slightly coarse fabric texture that adds to the artistic appearance of the image.

Fine art paper prints are produced on the highly revered 310gsm Canson Print Making acid free cotton rag paper which greatly enhances the beauty of the print.

PRINTING OPTIONS

Both fine-art prints and canvases can be supplied as a ‘print only’. These are rolled up and shipped in sturdy mailing tubes to ensure their safe arrival.

FINE-ART PRINTS

Fine-art prints can be supplied matted and framed ready to hang … and there’s a choice of three frame colours: Black, White or Natural Oak.

CANVAS PRINTS

Canvases can be supplied already stretched onto rigid wooden frames ready to hang. The extra canvas (which is either white or black depending on the image) is wrapped around the sides of the frame. The canvas material has a slightly coarse, fabric texture which adds to the appearance of the image, and a clear UV coating is applied to the canvas for protection.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Each print comes with a personally signed Certificate of Authenticity to confirm that it is a genuine Peter Walton ‘Signature Collection’ print. Be sure to retain this so that in the unlikely event that you decide to sell the work, you can pass it on to the next owner. 

TIMEFRAME

The normal delivery time for prints is approximately 10 to 15 working days. This depends on how many orders have been received, your location and Australia Post’s delivery times.

DELIVERY

Free delivery by Australia Post is included in the price for deliveries to anywhere within Australia. Non Australian residents wanting to order framed prints or stretched canvases are invited to email me: peter@peterwaltonsart.com to enquire about the cost of delivery to their country.

When your print has been dispatched an email with a tracking number will be sent to you.

It’s worth noting the price difference between a rolled print and a stretched or framed print. Some customers choose the rolled print option and have their local picture framer handle the stretching or framing.
